Our IPS fuel transfer system is a reliable, inexpensively fully engineered and packaged system that excels in transferring fuel from gravity trucks to above ground storage tanks.  This system gives you full control of filling operations, yet prevents overfills from occurring and allows full drainage of the truck’s delivery hose.

Our IPS fuel transfer system provides a ready means of ground level connection of the fill hose, plus capturing spills that may occur at the fill point during the filling operations.

Our IPS fuel transfer system includes a high capacity self priming fuel transfer pump with  total pump control.  The unique design and intelligence of the IPS fuel transfer system allows full and easy draining of the truck's fill hose prior to disconnect.

The system detects the 90% tank level, stops filling operations and activates an alarm.  The system allows the operator to continue filling and/or drain the fill hose up to the 95% tank level, at which time all filling operations are locked out and an alarm is activated.  A leak detection circuit prevents filling of leaking tanks.  Visual and audible level and leak alarms and high level indication are provided.

The IPS fuel transfer system is available for use with diesel, fuel oil and other Class-II liquids, or with gasoline, aviation fuels or other Class-I liquids.  Single or multiple tank systems are available with multiple tank controllers that allow the operator selection of the tank to be filled with automatic lockout of all other tanks.

As with all Phillips Pump fuel transfer products, our IPS fuel transfer system is fully compatible with, and can communicate with, our pump sets, day tanks and other fuel monitoring equipment, giving you a single design source for all your fuel transfer needs.

Each IPS System Includes:

• Weather resistant fill box, 14 gauge carbon steel with durable rust-resistant outer finish and 15 gallon containment sump with 1/2" NPT drain port
• Fully gasketed door with chrome plated locking door handle
• Inlet fitting sizes: 2" or 3" dry break disconnect and dust cover
• High capacity cast iron self-priming centrifugal pump with viton seal
• Designs to meet the specific requirements with a wide range of system options available for each application
• Overfill prevention controller located inside the fill box with:
  • Tank full, tank high level and leak detected visual alarms
  • Audible alarm buzzer
  • Power on indicator light
  • Pump on, pump off and system reset push-buttons
• Our IPS-DR series includes a digital tank level reading out along with the alarms as listed above.  The DR series interfaces with optional level probes listed below or with existing third party tank gauging system which produces a 4.0 - 20.0 mA output
• 460 VAC, 3 phase, 60 Hertz required, other voltages are available upon request

Note: For multi-tank system add number of tanks to part number.  Example: IPS-3/2 for a 3.0" inlet, two tank system.
