Automatic Tank Loading Fuel Transfer System

If your fuel transfer requirements call for above ground storage tanks, Phillips Pump has the
answer. Choose from our selection of compact, economical wall or tank mountable solutions.
We provide all of the valves and fittings needed to allow fuel transfer from a tank truck via a hose connection.
This easy to access Phillips Pump solution can provide spill protection through the optional tank overfill prevention
controls.
Tank, wall or pad mountable systems, our APM fuel transfer system provides a ready
means of ground level connection of the fill hose, plus capturing spills that may occur at the fill point
during the filling operations.
The Phillips Pump APM fuel transfer control system is available for use with diesel,
fuel oil and other Class-II liquids, or for gasoline, aviation fuels or other Class-I liquids. Single or
multiple tank systems are available. Multiple tank controllers allow for operator selection of the
tank to be filled, with automatic lockout of all other tanks.
The unique design and built-in intelligence of the APM fuel transfer system detects a 90%
tank level, automatically stopping filling operations and activating an alarm. The system allows
the operator to continue filling up to the 95% tank level or drain the fill hose. At the 95% tank
level, all filling operations are locked out and a second alarm is activated. A leak detection circuit
prevents filling of leaking tanks. Visual and audible level and leak alarms and
high level indication are provided.
As with all Phillips Pump products, our PHILLMATE APM fuel transfer control system is fully
compatible with, and can communicate with, our pump sets, day tanks and other fuel monitoring and transfer
equipment, bringing a single design source for all your fuel system needs.

Each Phillips Pump Fuel Transfer System Includes:
- Weather resistant fill box, 14 gauge carbon steel with durable rust-resistant outer
finish and 15 gallon containment sump with
1/2" NPT drain port (optional stainless steel available)
- Fully gasketed door with chrome plated locking door handle
- 2" or 3" dry break disconnect and dust cover to provide positive fill point locking
action with minimal chance of leaking after hose disconnect
- Tank supply inlet solenoid valve for tank full and tank high level supply shut down to prevent
overfilling, or for flow direction in multiple tank application (note: each valve is
shipped loose for installation in fuel supply line)
- Overfill prevention controller, located inside the fill box with:
- Audible alarm buzzer
- System open, system close and system reset push-button
- Digital tank level read out in percent volume with tank full, tank high level and leak
detected alarm available (DR series systems)
- Controller interfaces with optional level probes listed below or with existing
third party tank gauging systems which produce a 4 - 20 mA output
- 115 VAC, 1 phase, 60 Hertz required; other voltages are available upon request
- Designs to meet the specific requirements with a wide range of system
options available for each application
