Long distance racing fuel tank still has Index of Performance seal tabs on filler and cap. Author has since replaced leather straps with steel. 750 Bialbero engine. The radiator fan is from a 600D, replacing the origonal stamped steel unit for efficiency and durability in historic racing.
Above: The Author's 750 before body restoration. Severely rusted, extensive repairs were required. These Abarth Alfin oversize drum brakes were not originally on the car as raced. They were available in 1959 as an option. When I found them, it was a no-brainer to fit them to the car. They stop almost as well as disc brakes and are a double leading shoe arrangement two wheel cylinders, each with a differential bore.
